Dad sadly died on 31/10/2004 after suffering for a few months, he shouldnt have sufferd the way he
did, as in life he was a very strong character, loved by so many ,as those who went to the funeral
could see.
He was originally from Cork City where a lot of family still live and his three eldest were also
born there.
He worked hard all his life until he had a heart attack and couldnt work again. As kids we didnt go
without he took us on holiday every year which with eight kids was a big achievement, we had some
great times, he used to threaten us every year if our school reports were bad we wouldnt go on
holiday and every year we used to wait for the postman on the corner and hide the reports until we
came back , he never knew until we had all grown up and we told him, he did laugh about it.
He was known as the voice by his many friends, as you could always hear him before you could see
him, he used to frequently visit the irish club and also the whitnash tavern where he used to boss
everybody about.
He loved backing the horses always telling people he had big wins when he never, he was great at
pulling your leg, he didnt care how old you were if he thought you were wrong he would soon tell you
off.
Hes been gone three years this week it dosent seem like it, we talk about him every week when we
gather at me mothers, she loves to talk about him, and when you meet people who knew him they always
talk about him espeically the crowd he used to drink with every week down the irish club. It was
such a shame to see him go at 70 he should have been one of those 90yearolds still shouting and
telling everybody off.
Just to say we all miss and love him and we know when our time comes he will be there waiting for
us, but no doubt we will hear him before we see him.

Hello Grandad, Well i havent been on here for ages but just wanted too say everyone is fine. Harvey is goin to be two next week the time has gone sooo fast. Im up in liverpool seeing mum now she is good and so is leah and tony, anyway gonna go now love you and miss you loads Megan and Harvey xxxx

Heya Grandad its me again! Your proberly thinking God Nicole get a life!! lol but im just checking in and letting you know that im thinking about you! Me and leah are coming too leamington on wednesday! am sooo excited! Miss every1 so much being up here! spesh because my mums got tony and leah and im just on my own all the time! :( Well me and my friend Katie are having a 18th birthday party. And we might have it in the bulldog because its easy for nan too get too! so make sure u come and have a look! First thing on thursday morning im going too go see nan. its werid but i miss her the most! even tho i didnt see her everyday when we lived in leamington! But i was just letting you know that i think about you everyday! And cnt believe its going too be 5years without you this year! its gone so fast and i mis you so much!! Im going now but il check in soon! Love you loads and loads and loads!

hi dad sorry its been a while just letting you no kayleigh is having a baby. its dew on 4 aug shes having a boy with the help of god. i am really scared you no wot shes like well dad i miss you every day. bluey got a new job and ive got a job in a sanwhich shop i love .it take care dad watch over kayleigh for me god bless love you susan
